University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, Michigan): The combination of Wolverine football and fall foliage in Ann Arbor, offers a unique blend of spirited game days and seasonal charm of autumn in the Great Lakes region. Additionally, we would not be surprised if Coach Harbaugh is a fan of fall foliage.

  21. University of Iowa (Iowa City, Iowa): Fans may experience a boring offensive scheme on Saturday’s in Iowa City, but that doesn’t mean the fall colors lack flare. Peak color typically occurs in middle to late October just at the right time for the Hawkeyes to upset a Big 10 east school.

University of Oregon (Eugene, Oregon): While the Pacific Northwest is not well known for traditional fall foliage, the scenic backdrop of Autzen Stadium against the backdrop of Oregon’s landscape offers a unique autumn experience. Also, Animal House was filmed on this campus. As Otis Redding and the Knights say “Shama Lama Ding Dong.”

  24. Syracuse University (Syracuse, New York): Syracuse, known for its vibrant fall colors, is located in central New York. Though it makes for a wonderful fall scene, viewing a football game from the inside of a dome disrupts the autumn feeling.

  25. University of Georgia (Athens, Georgia): Calling them dawgs! Not only does the University of Georgia win on the field, fans can expect some wonderful fall feels in November for home games.

    While this area of Georgia is not typically known for its dramatic fall foliage in the same way as northern Georgia, you can still enjoy some beautiful autumn colors in Athens. Fact or fiction, some of the trees are younger than former QB Stetson Bennett.
